Hoggan Scientific makes measurement instruments for muscle and ergonomic assessment. We stock the microFET2 handheld dynamometer.
A handheld dynamometer turns strength assessment into data: instead of grading resistance by feel, you record a value in newtons or kilograms that can be compared between the sound and affected side, and between one session and the next. That changes the conversation with the patient and with the rest of the team, because progress stops being an impression.
There are two versions. The one with clinical software adds recording and comparison of measurements on a computer, with reports and longitudinal tracking. The version without software measures to the same precision and is enough if you are recording the numbers in your own notes.
This is assessment equipment, not treatment: its value shows up when you measure systematically, at the start and at every review.
