Collection: Electromedicine

Electrotherapy uses controlled currents for pain management and muscle activation. This collection brings together the electrical stimulators, the TENS and EMS units and the consumables needed to run them.

The Globus range runs from entry level to professional. The Duo TENS has 2 channels and 20 programmes, aimed at pain relief. The Elite steps up to 4 channels and 98 programmes across sport, fitness, aesthetics, TENS and rehabilitation. The Genesy 300 Pro offers 4 channels and 91 programmes for analgesia, rehabilitation and strengthening, and the Genesy 600 reaches 149 programmes and adds MENS, incontinence and iontophoresis. The Activa 700 is the most complete on programme count.

From NeuroTrac we stock the Multitens and the Rehab, both 2-channel, with preset TENS and NMES programmes and options you can build in phases. The ES-130 stimulator is aimed at electroacupuncture, applied through needles or surface electrodes.

For assessment, the Hoggan microFET2 handheld dynamometer, with and without clinical software, measures muscle strength objectively and lets you compare readings between sessions instead of working on impression.

Electrodes are the consumable: adhesive, 5x5 cm and 5x10 cm, with cable or snap connection, compatible with most units. Check the connection type on your stimulator before reordering, because snap and clip are not interchangeable.

When comparing units, programme count matters less than channels: two channels treat one area; four let you work two areas, or a full muscle group, at once.
