Collection: Kinesio Tape

Kinesiology tape, or elastic therapeutic taping, is a cotton or viscose tape with a wave-pattern adhesive applied to the skin to give muscular and joint support without limiting the range of movement. That is its essential difference from rigid functional strapping, which stabilises by restricting.

This collection carries the main brands on the market. AcuTop in its Classic (cotton) and Pro Sport (viscose) ranges. Temtex, in cotton, with 150-160 % elasticity and nine colours. Leukotape K, with a wave-pattern adhesive. Dynamic Tape, which works differently: it is highly elastic with no rigid end point, so it is used to assist or offload tissue rather than to give sensory input. And Skulltape, with a printed design.

On fabric: cotton breathes better and is the usual clinic choice; viscose stands up to sweat and friction, and performs better in sport.

On format: the standard 5 cm x 5 m roll is the general-purpose one. The 32 and 35 m XXL rolls are for practices taping daily and bring the cost per metre down considerably. The 6-roll multicolour boxes settle the colour range in one order.

On colour: there is no functional difference between colours. Every roll in a given range shares the same elasticity, thickness and adhesive. The choice is aesthetic, patient preference, or an internal working code.
