Collection: Bandages

Functional strapping and fixation material for physiotherapy and sport. Unlike kinesiology tape, which accompanies movement, this material is made to stabilise by limiting joint travel in the direction you want to protect.

Rigid tape is the base: Strappal in 4 cm x 10 m and Strappal Forte with a stronger hold, Leukotape Classic in 3.75 cm in white and colour, and sporttape in 3.8 cm x 10 m, all non-elastic and with zinc oxide adhesive. They come as single rolls and in clinic formats of 24 and 32.

Underneath the rigid tape goes the underwrap: non-adhesive foam in 7 cm x 27 m that protects the skin from the pull of the adhesive and reduces friction. On strappings worn for several days, or over sensitive skin, it stops being optional.

The cohesive bandagesPeha-haft and KLMED — stick to themselves and not to skin: they compress and secure without immobilising, adapt to areas that change in volume, and come off without scissors. Elastomull haft covers the self-adhering elastic gauze bandage, and Leukosilk the surgical tape for holding dressings on delicate skin.

The category closes with the lattice cross tape for trigger points and the blunt-tipped Lister scissors, which let you take a strapping off without risk to the patient’s skin.

A complete functional strapping usually combines three layers: skin protection, rigid support and cohesive fixation. It is worth keeping all three in stock at once, because with one missing the other two perform worse.
